The model railroad club opens its huge HO-scale layout of the Columbia Gorge and Portland in the early 1950s to the public, with trains running past miniature streetcars, cyclists and a working Steel Bridge. Entry is timed to keep the room comfortable; the time on a ticket is an entry time, not a limit on how long you can stay. General admission is 15 dollars for ages 12 and up, 5 dollars for ages 3 to 11, and free under age 3.
