After these Sunday 2pm Ailey matinees, City Center's Grand Tier turns into five hands-on activity stations for ballet, tap, modern, hip hop and step, led by City Center Teaching Artists. The stations come from Introducing Rhythm, the new children's book by Ailey artistic director Alicia Graf Mack, who hosts a book signing on December 13. Free for that performance's ticketholders, so kids get to move after sitting and watching.
