Downtown Riverside flips on millions of holiday lights at the 34th annual Festival of Lights switch-on, with live performances and fireworks right after the 5 p.m. ceremony at Orange Street and Mission Inn Avenue. The city asks families to arrive by 4:30 p.m. The light display then runs through the end of December, closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
